Pastor Phillip Pitt

I was born and grew up in Wayne, Michigan just outside Detroit.

I attended high school at Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan which was the beginning of my journey into the ministry. From there I attended Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin for 4 years.

That was followed by 4 years of training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. One of those years was spent off campus serving under a supervising Pastor at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Neenah, Wisconsin.

Upon graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary I was assigned to Faith Lutheran Church, a mission church, in Russellville, Arkansas. For 3 of those years I also served King of Kings Lutheran Church in Little Rock, Arkansas and spent some time serving the saints in Hot Springs Village near Hot Springs, Arkansas.

In November of 1996, my wife, 4 children and I accepted a call to serve Our Hope Lutheran in Chippewa Falls. For the last 10 years I have also served St. John’s in Eagleton. My children are all Chi Hi graduates and we still enjoy attending events at the school. We have enjoyed our 23 years here in Chippewa and are happy that the Lord led us to call this our home.
